s is for snakes and ladders

she loves it. him not so much.

g is for games




so many social skills in action. taking turns, graciousness, patience.

c is for carols



we sang carols together. four generations. she came running with the ukelele.

p is for play

he played and played. we said goodbye to an amazing place. it was time to go.

o is for an orange loving 3 year old

he turned three a few days ago. my spirited, knowing, curious, grooving, sweet boy.
there was orange galore.

b is for back again

i've been a.w.o.l. i know. have finished work for the year now so we're transitioning again. a new summertime rhythm. looking forward to it.

h is for honeycomb

my brother is keeping bees and making honey. i can't get over how amazing honeycomb is. how amazing nature is.

t is for tuesday

tuesday is athletics. then afterwards it's become picnic pie and playground night. this week some good friends joined us. nice way to catch up.

s is for (feeling) spoilt

it's been busy. they spoiled me big time. to top it off, we had dinner outside on the deck. i'm feeling blessed with love and light.

s is for skimming stones

he had his first skimming stones lesson from his papa. mont the dog was confused why things were being thrown, but not for him.


g is for gran

we celebrated gran becoming 84. there had to be custard squares.

i is for industrious

i needed to keep industrious to keep myself from worrying too much. it seemed to work.

h is for holiday

we've had a lovely two weeks. found a holiday groove. it included no rushing and lots of outside.
i know they really enjoyed hanging out together.

f is for feet, floor, family

feeling grounded. bare feet on a floor that tells stories of a family.

c is for coin toss

she was delighted that you could flip a coin and it will turn up 'heads' or 'tails'. a simple discovery thanks to grandpa.

m is for mud


just add water, some dirt, sunshine and a sibling. fun times.

f is for fishing

the boy knows how to fish. hold the rod for awhile, pass it to grandad and go check out the picnic.

g is for game

we are a gaming family. tonight my mum, nephew and i got a game in. it's our spring school holidays. a nice change of flow.

s is for sunday
